Interviewer: What’s your name?

Mariana: My name is Marye.

Interviewer: And you?

Steven: I’m Steven.

Interviewer: Steven. So tell me about yourselves. Who are you?

Steven: So, Steven from Points Africa. I’m the VP for Marketing and Customer Experience.

Mariana: No, this is our first time and we believe that the fintech space is what is driving the world now and it is always good to join a good movement.

Interviewer: And so, how has the ambiance been so far?

Steven: I mean great. Great ambiance, great lovely people around and we are also getting connected to other partners and I really love this particular event.

Interviewer: Great. So when we talk about cyber security in the fintech system in Ghana, what has been some of the challenges for you and what is your company doing about it?

Steven: Yeah, normally security is all about data and as a fintech we are very concerned about data. We are also running on AWS. Customers are concerned about how people may get into their information and with our platform that security is assured. Also looking at the partners we’re working with like Glyco, Star Oil, Melcom and the other brands, the assurance and the trust that we are genuine is also there.

Interviewer: Great. Thank you so much. What do you have for us tonight?

Mariana: I guess I would say that we are a new loyalty company here in Ghana and we are rewarding everyday spending. So what you do every day—you buy groceries, you get your insurance, you go to Star, you buy fuel—and you get points from that. We give you the points and then you can use those points to get whatever you want across our network of partners. As he mentioned, the top brands.
